Life's doubtful gift, not asked before

If we'd prefer to be –

To love existence less or more,

Aware of death, its inner core:

At last to give us free

Coincidences interlinked

Set our frame of shame –

By ratio driven and instinct

All life is finally extinct:

As if no timeless claim

Mundane the parts, a holy whole

Leads us from me to we –

Where ends the body, starts the soul?

A mystery that takes control:

Back to eternity...
